Welcome, I’m glad you’re here. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (FL), a Licensed Professional Counselor (TX), a Registered Play Therapist™, a Certified EMDR Therapist, and a Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida. I am currently training to become a Trauma-Sensitive Certified Heartmath Practitioner.

I have been working in the field of counseling for over 20 years. I believe therapy works best when it engages the whole person—body, brain, and heart—while also considering family dynamics and relationships. My experience has included schools, community mental health, outreach, and private practice. My approach integrates expressive arts, EMDR, and play therapy with cognitive-behavioral strategies, all through a neurobiological lens, to support deep and lasting healing.

While my Christian faith is important to me personally, I delight in the relationships I have with clients from all backgrounds and walks of life. In addition to my career as a counselor, I am also a professional pianist and freelance writer.  Picnics and dance parties with my husband and son are two of my favorite things in the world. If you or your family are struggling, I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing.

“He’s back to being my happy kid again with a new self-confidence that I haven’t seen in years.”
